Yitong Geng

Yitong Geng is an illustrator, visual designer, and character artist from Tianjin, China, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Her work is rooted in contemporary pop culture while incorporating reflections on youth identity, urban life, and cross-cultural narratives, resulting in a distinctive style that combines visual impact with emotional resonance.

 

She specializes in digital tools such as Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, with a particular focus on character design and IP design. Her artwork is known for its saturated colors and dynamic compositions. In recent years, she has collaborated with several Chinese artists and performance teams on album cover art and stage visual concepts. She also led the design and expansion of an IP series for a Chinese TikTok content creator with over 250,000 followers.

 

These experiences have deepened her understanding of the integration between commercial and artistic practices and motivated her to explore cross-disciplinary possibilities such as digital media and brand expression. Yitong believes that visual language can transcend geographical and cultural boundaries. Through her ongoing creative practice, she aims to contribute an innovative Eastern perspective to the global landscape of youth culture.
